About Eurovision
Starting in 1956, the Eurovision Song Contest is one of the longest running globally televised songwriting competitions. Countries from across Europe, the Middle East and Australia each enter an original 3 minute song with the hopes of winning the coveted crystal microphone, and a chance of hosting the contest.
